FAQs
What is a print?
A print is a printed copy of an original piece of work. Below are the different kinds of prints I offer:
Giclee Prints: Ultra-detailed fine art print on premium matte paper.
Flat Canvas: Printed on archival quality canvas with a white 2 inch matting.
Gallery Wrapped Canvas: Hand-stretched around a sturdy wooden frame, a gallery wrapped canvas doesn't have any visible staples or nails holding the fabric to the wooden stretcher bars so the painting could be hung unframed.
Why can’t you make all originals into prints?
Simply put: not all pieces print equally. I am still in the middle of finding the best printer for my work that won’t cost me an arm and a leg (because the more expensive it is for me to print, the more expensive it is for me to sell it for). Right now the printer I have access to some colors come out great and some do not, the vibrancy is lost and it the print gets washed out, so I can’t use them for every print option until I find a better option, what I can offer as a print, I will.
What’s a commission? Are you accepting commissions?
A commission is the act of paying an artist to produce or create a custom piece of art for you.
Yes! I am almost always taking commissions. In the past I have created a number of custom pieces for clients, ranging from acrylic paintings to custom Ketubahs. To inquire about a commission contact me here.
Do you create wedding Ketubahs?
Yes! I offer a range prints and custom Ketubah options. My Ketubahs accommodate both Sefardi and Ashkanazi customs. For a glimpse of past work, see my Instagram page. For more information contact me here.
Why are things “expensive?”
Good question! TIME! Things take time! I base a piece’s price on how long it takes me to create it along with the cost of supplies. That’s why sometimes my pieces may be a little more expensive.
Is everything on your Instagram for sale?
Most of the time, yes! My Instagram is a place I showcase a lot of my art. If it’s up there I most likely made it for someone or with the intention of selling it. HOWEVER, on occasion I will create something that was just for me, often in a different medium then I’m usually working in just as an escape. If I post it, it’s because I love it and want to share it, but those things are not always for sale. But if you see something you like, feel free to reach out to me on Instagram or here.
Are you accepting returns?
At this time I am not, but if you have a problem with a purchase please feel free to DM me on Instagram, or contact me here and we will figure something out!
